Gaseous helium transfer systems

In the last two months DH Industies USA has supplied two cryogenic helium transfer systems to USA based clients.

One system for a Boston-region research institute, supplied by CryoZone, consists of a heat exchanger to extract cold out of a cryogenic cooler and a cryogenic fan. The system is envisioned to transfer cold helium gas to a superconducting device cooling the terminations.

The second system, supplied by Stirling Cryogenics for a space systems company, uses the Stirling SPC-1T cryogenic cooler to produce 20K helium gas which is transported by CryoZone’s cryogenic fan to customers application which is the thermal shield of a space simulation chamber.
